Goa CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:  Goa CET will be announced Eligibility Criteria of Goa CET (NEET) 2017. GOA CET is one of the important exams for those students of Goa CET who wish to pursue medical and engineering courses in college of Goa. The exam is conducted every year in the month of May. Candidates who want to apply for various courses in Goa colleges. Candidates who want to appear in Goa CET exam they don’t need to attend Goa CET because National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conduct will conduct the all kind of medical entrance exam in 2017. Those students who want to apply in this examination they can read the eligibility criteria. GOA CET is a state level examination conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Every year a huge number of contender appears in the GOA CET (NEET) 2017 Examination.

Goa CET 2017 Eligibility Criteria

  • First Year MBBS, BDS, BHMS, AHS & B.Sc. in Nursing
  • Applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) examination of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  • Secured 50% marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology English.
  • 40% Marks for those applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only.
  • 45% Marks for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course.
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
  • Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
  • Completed 17 year age.

 

  • Sc. in Nursing
  • Applicants should have passed HSSC with minimum 50%aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for General Category
  • 45% aggregate marks in all subjects for candidates belonging to SC/ST category in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
  • Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. Of India
  • Completed 17 year age.
  • VALID SCORE AT GCET-2015

 

  • First Year B.E.
  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. 12th) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology,
  • Secured 45%marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
  • 40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
  • Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
  • Completed 17 year age.
  • VALID SCORE AT GCET-2016

 

  • First Year B. Pharm.
  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XII Th) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology.
  • Secured 45%marks in Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
  • 40% Marks for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only.
  • As per Pharmacy Council of India Regulations, candidates passing Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi are not approved/ eligible for admissions to B. Pharm.
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
  • Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India

  • First Year B.Arch
  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XIIth ) examination of the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education with Mathematics as one of the subjects and secured at least 50% marks in aggregate
  • 45% aggregate marks for applicant’s belonging to SC/ST/OBC
  • 50% marks in 10+3 Diploma (in any stream) recognized by Central and State Governments International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
  • Applicants scoring minimum 80/200 at NATA will be eligible for admission to B.Arch., provided NATA score is obtained by answering NATA exam before last date of submission of admission form.
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.

  • Kashmiri Migrants Only in Engineering Courses:
  • The applicant should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std. XIIth ) examination with English, Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry /Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology
  • Secured 45%marks in the subjects of Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
  • Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category.
  • Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category.
  • Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
  • No Age limit.
  • VALID SCORE AT GCET-2016

 

  • Changes in Eligibility, if any:
  • In case Medical Council, Dental Council, AICTE, Council of Architecture, Pharmacy Council, Indian Nursing Council, any Court or any other competent authority changes the eligibility conditions/selection procedures and makes it specifically applicable to the admissions of this year, the provisions of the prospectus may be modified accordingly, subject to approval of Government, and the same will be duly notified.

  • Admission of Eligible Diploma/B.Sc. Degree holders to First Year of Engineering /Pharmacy Degree Courses:
  • Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering /B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as a subject at Std XII, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC), shall be eligible for admission to First Year of Engineering Degree Courses, subject to vacancies in First Year, after vacancies at Lateral Entry into Direct Second Year are exhausted.
